From Vivid Alt 2006 If you were to judge a porn movie by its box cover, anyone looking for something a little different would be sure to pick this flick up. The eye-popping graphics and a very un-smut-like lack of bare tits tell you this ain’t yo momma’s porno even more than the Vivid Alt logo. In Eastside Story, Vena Virago shoots LA’s hottest new stars on some visually arresting sets but you still get plenty of the old in-and-out. With the exception of the girl-girl scene between Page Morgan and the mohawked Michelle Aston, there’s nothing too kinky here. It’s close to two full hours of colorful cocksucking, enthusiastic clit-licking and all sorts of artfully inked, genitally adorned hipsters humping. Yeehaw! So what’s inside those 109 minutes of movie? Well, every scene begins with the stars on camera, telling their tale of how they got into the biz, how many movies they’ve made and whatnot. What’s immediately apparent is that you can make a LOT of movies in a very short time! And with the exception of Dino Bravo, most of these performers are fairly new. Scene one stars Lexi and Alex, both of whom I had the pleasure to meet on Jamye Waxman’s shoot. After their little intros the two go at it enthusiastically, moving from suck to lick to 69 until Gonz is practically smothered by Bardot’s ass. He’s tossing her salad like a cheap K-Tel gizmo and she’s “Oh, yeah!”-ing like mad. Whew! I’m usually not a fan of packaged sets or other such marketing shticks, but you get more than the usual phone sex ads and static photo galleries here.
